About the Event

What is it all about?

Did you know that most people who struggle with anxiety, stress, panic attack, and insomnia have issues

breathing correctly on a daily basis? Over time this has an accumulative and unhealthy impact on the body as restricted oxygen levels begin to shut parts of the respiratory system down, reducing the oxygen intake even further which then disrupts the body making it unable to function at its optimal level, contributing to a permanently dysregulated nervous system which activates higher levels of cortisol (the stress hormone) and adrenaline. These two overactive hormones are a big factor in anxiety and stress disorders.

If you struggle with anxiety & related issues learning Diaphragmatic Breathwork and Nervous System Regulation is key in not only reducing but resolving the condition almost completely. Breathing is the only part of the autonomic nervous system that we can override and back-take control of, which means we can change our state of being simply by changing our breathing. Change the way you breathe and you can change the way you live.

 This workshop will teach you the tools you need to help yourself take back healthy control and manageability of your breathing to create neuroplasticity in the body. Learn how you can switch states to be able to naturally self-soothe, increasing oxygen intake so the body can function correctly and return the nervous system to a regulated state. We will focus on how to regulate your nervous system more easily in times of overwhelm, helping you expand the breath and correct limited breathing patterns to activate the diaphragm NOT cortisol and adrenaline. Allowing you a faster resolution when uncomfortable moments arise and reducing the impact of attacks.

The workshop will be broken down into 3 parts:

 1. How to strengthen and build Vagal Tone with Vagus Nerve Exercises & Practices (builds better resilience & nervous system flexibility)

2. Learn how to embody a daily diaphragmatic breathing practice to heal dysfunctional breathing. (naturally reducing cortisol levels – the stress hormone).

3. 1:1 hand on guidance and support to help you correct your dysfunctional breathing (to regain control in times of panic/overwhelm/distress). By becoming more aware of your breathing you’ll gain powerful new insights building yourself a new, positive, resilient, and anxiety-free future.
