Cacao, Breathwork, Sound & Energy - Winter Solstice Ceremony

Join Susie & Junior for a magical Winter Solstice celebration that honours the longest night of the year and invites in the returning light.   This workshop is a unique blend of ancient traditions and modern practices designed to nourish your body, mind, and spirit. We'll come together in community to honour the Winter Solstice with a series of transformative experiences, including a cacao ceremony, Conscious Connected Breathwork session & Ancestral healing and a soothing sound and gong bath to integrate the whole experience.  

Susie Smith, Breathwork / Trauma Informed & Shamanic Practitioner and Gong and Sound Practitioner Junior Valentine take you on a unique Winter Solstice Ceremonial journey using the deep transformative power of conscious connected breathwork entwined with the sound, frequency, and vibration of a full and immersive sound/gong bath, nourished and supported by sacred Cacao - medicine of the heart.  

Both Susie and Junior work with energy and will be connecting you back to your body wisdom throughout the session. 

This will be a deeply somatic and transformative journey through breathwork and sound healing. As we harness the energy of The Winter Solstice - Winter solstice reminds us to honour taking time to slow down, and release what is no longer serving us as we celebrate the return of light, literally and metaphorically.  Our cacao ceremony is a sacred and ancient ritual that revolves around the ceremonial use of raw cacao, the plant from which chocolate is derived. Originating from indigenous traditions in Central and South America and Africa, cacao ceremonies are deeply rooted in spiritual and healing practices. 

This Cacao ceremony will prepare us to step in 2024 with a found appreciation of one's love for yourself and others, the unique blend of ancient wisdom and contemporary self-exploration, creating a space for personal transformation internal insight and healing.  

You’ll be then guided into conscious connected breathwork reconnecting ourselves to the high heart intelligence within, through the breath and the ancestral realms; Susie will work directly with participants throughout the session helping to reprogram the subconscious using a unique hands-on acupressure ‘body mapping’ technique to help release any tension and pockets of trapped energy out of the body, which can surface through the breathwork activation. Working with shamanic ancestral healing and her connection and devotion to the ancestors. 

We will then transition gently into the sound bath for the final part of the workshop as Junior gently moves us into the integration with the frequency and harmonising energy of sound. This is the meditative phase of the workshop where you are lead through a 25-minute gong sound bath, the sacred sounds enhancing the already raised frequencies and easing us into a place of deep reflection, release, reset and completion.  

We close with a sharing circle, gratitude for the light ignited, intentions embodied, and our linage enriched.
